Associate Professor Gordan Jezic

Short biography

Gordan Ježić was born on October 16, 1971 in Zagreb. He received a B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. at Department of Telecommunications of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, in 1995, 1999 and 2003, respectively. Since 1996 he is with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of the University of Zagreb where he currently works as an associate professor at the Department of Telecommunications.

Gordan Ježić is the principal investigator of the projects funded by Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM), as well as the investigator of the project funded by the Croatian  Ministry of Science, Education and Sports. Prof. Ježić is now a Management Committee member of the COST Action IC0801 Agreement Technologies and a program committee member on several international conferences. He serves as a Technical Committee member of the KES Focus Group on Agent and Multi-agent Systems and as a member of the Editorial board of the International Journal LNCS Transactions on Computational Collective Intelligence (Springer) and the International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering Systems. He was a Program Committee Secretary of the International Conference on Telecommunications ConTEL in 1997. He is a memeber of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers IEEE, KES International and IEEE FIPA (The Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents).
