Jurica Babić

Jurica Babić was born on February 14th, 1989 in Varaždin, Croatia. In the year 2007 he finished his high school education at the X. Gymnasium "Ivan Supek" The same year he enrolled in the undergraduate (B.Sc.) study programme at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. In 2010, he received his B.Sc. degree in Computing at the Department of Telecommunications after his bachelor thesis defense. The bachelor thesis was entitled "Public Transportation guide on mobile devices" (supervisor: Prof. Gordan Ježić). 

He continued his education on the second cycle study programme (M.Sc.) "Information and Communication Technology", where he received his M.Sc. degree in 2012. The master thesis was entitled "A Simulation Platform for Power Trading" (supervisor: Assist. Prof. Vedran Podobnik).

After acquiring master's degree, he enrolled in the postgraduate study (Ph.D.) at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of the University of Zagreb. In 2012, he joined the Department of Telecommunications of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, where hhurikae works as a Research Associate.

His research interests is in electricity trading within the smart grid environment.

He is a member of IEEE association and KES International.
